Color is just one of those things that makes the world go round. Kandinsky said that "color is a power which directly influences the soul," and I believe it. This is the first episode of my Shades Study and I happen to be starting with BLUE. Probably my favorite color if I had to choose as it's the shade of the sky and water.
Hang your flags high and break out your denim. It's time to thank the Lord for the daily freedom we have and watch a glorious display of fireworks. Eat some ice cream to cool off from that July heat. Gather with friends and family to celebrate those who stood up for themselves a couple hundred years ago. Here's to independence!
